Crius Energy and MPOWERD® Announce Partnership, Pledge to Give Light to 20,000 In Need

NORWALK, Conn.-- Crius Energy, a leading retail energy provider, is pleased to announce a new partnership with MPOWERD, Inc., that is helping light the night in some of the world’s most underserved communities by donating 20,000 lights to people in need.

Select newly enrolled and renewing customers will be able to take advantage of the pledge by choosing certain plans or qualifying for participation when renewing via Crius Energy’s brands TriEagle Energy and Public Power. In return, a customer participating will receive one of MPOWERD’s Luci EMRG inflatable solar lights – an all-in-one, pocket-sized lantern, flashlight, and emergency light – and one in-kind donation will be made to individuals living in communities with limited access to electricity and other light sources around the world.

The pledge is exclusive to select customers that newly enroll in certain plans or qualify when renewing service. While the program will initially focus on Crius Energy’s TriEagle Energy and Public Power brands, the company hopes that it will soon expand to more of its markets, with brands including U.S Gas & Electric, Cincinnati Bell Energy, and Comcast Energy Rewards.
